Solo whilst playing backbeat 1. Play up with first finger off beat notes against the snare hits - mainly notes on B and high E string - add
vibrato and slides to make it lively - use little finger to fret notes so can mute rest of strings with other fingers of left hand
- can also play double stops and 3 notes pull offs (i.e. E - 5p3p0)
Can use 3rd finger if want to apply more vibrato and give left hand more space to work against the capo
